MADLAD is led by MJ silva — founder, executive producer, and the mad lad himself.

By nature, MJ is a builder: equal parts operations brain and creative instigator. With a background in project management and complex logistics, he’s calm in the chaos by design — the person who knows where every moving part belongs, even when the room is on fire.

By background, he comes from theater and performance art, where timing, mood, and presence are everything. That lens still guides the work — an understanding that an experience isn’t just seen, it’s felt.

By instinct, he’s a host. Someone who turns gatherings into moments and moments into memories. Over the years, his own parties evolved into fully realized experiences — most notably an annual Tamales & Tequila tradition that grew into a can’t-miss event for friends and collaborators alike.

MADLAD Events was born at that intersection — where performance, operational discipline, and spectacle meet.

MJ approaches every project with taste, precision, and at least one wild card. He believes in editing as much as excess, in knowing when to pull back and when to push forward.
